Making Time for Creating
I found this to be a beautiful argument for making time for creating, for writing, for living - not just for ourselves, but how our creating can help others too.
Contemplations on life, writing, books, music, and motherhood, and fun links

That's wonderful. Thank you.
great video --as good as I knew it would be. The sculptress reminded me -- at least in her work -- of Roxanne Swentzel here in the Santa Clara Pueblo north of Santa Fe. She focuses on women and the creative life force.
We must create. Maybe that is why I cant quit blogging?
G'day from Australia - I came here from Janet' site. This is great homage to creativity.
I see you are a Dr Seuss fan - I am too, as well as an admirer of Edward Lear's work. You might find something to smile at in my daily ``Verse and Worse'' four-liners ....
And the photo on your header is eerily reminescent of a vertical frame I shot in Alska recently. Same colours!!
Beautiful Lauri, thanks for the important reminder.
Motherpie, I will check out that artist. Santa Fe has so much cool art work. And yes, blogging is creative!
David, welcome to the blog. Weird about the picture. That one was taken in the Rocky Mountains. It's one of my favorite shots because the picture really captured the feeling of that afternoon - the beauty and the majesty. And I very much like your blog. I'll keep visiting.
Janet, and the Writing Nag, thanks for always commenting - and I'm glad you liked the creative movie.
